RESEARCH INTERESTS
My research interests focus on vascular biology, cardiovascular physiology, and mechanotransduction, with particular emphasis on the role of mechanosensitive ion channels in endothelial function, angiogenesis, cardiac remodeling, and neurovascular integrity. My work integrates molecular, cellular, and translational approaches to understand how biomechanical signaling regulates vascular homeostasis and contributes to diseases including heart failure and neurodegeneration. My long-term goal is to identify novel mechanotransduction pathways and therapeutic targets that can improve vascular function, tissue regeneration, and healthy aging.
